This week's episode is for a friend, someone who is working in Western Ukraine to alleviate suffering and provide assistance to the IDP and refugees.  She is doing so in a confused and fluid environment.  In this episode I offer ways to identify information and fuse together a picture of what is actually happening on the ground.  How to determine where the enemy is and where the conflict zones might be.  More important though, is the planning phases conducted prior to departure to ensure that all eventualities are considered and everyone knows what they are doing no matter what occurs.  Planning is your best defence against an unpredictable foe and therefore you should spend considerable efforts, detailed analysis and continue until everyone knows exactly what they are to do in each situation.
