The One that is beyond birth and death has bound creation to birth and death. A common question arises, 'when and how did that One appear or start?' The Guru helps us to understand that the One has no beginning and has always existed. As well as us having gone through multiple lifeforms being in the cycle of birth and death, something that's more within our grasp is that we're in this smaller cycle of life and death which is dependant on our state of mind. Where we fall into animal like instincts like greed and wanting more which is also classed as a form of cyclical form of life and death. We go back to how meditating on the name of God can help us break this cycle.
