This unit’s lithium-ion battery overheats creating fire and burn hazards. Affected are models 2G520, 2G505B, and 2G512B.

About 24,000 units were sold in the US, and about 9,900 were sold in Canada online at Amazon.com, Homedepot.com, and Esrtech.com from September 2023 through July 2025.

Stop using these recalled power banks and contact Waymeet at 1-888-990-0280 or via the email [email protected] for a full refund. You will need to email your order number, if available, and a photo of your recalled unit showing the model number with the word “Recalled” written on it in permanent marker. Then dispose of the  product according to local hazardous waste disposal regulations and not in the trash, curbside recycling, or battery collection bins.
