Dr. Essam Heggy is an Egyptian space scientist working at NASA, and a professor at both the Paris-Sorbonne University and the University of Southern California (USC). He briefly served as the Egyptian president's advisor for scientific affairs from 2013 until his resignation in 2014. He is currently living in self-exile in California. This interview is in Arabic, and is Part I of 2.
