Who is Estaban Weaver? If you remember the name then this one will give you chills. For those of you who don’t then this is a story that you definitely need to take the time to learn about. We always hear about the High School phenoms such as Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady and LeBron James. Estaban Weaver got more hype than any of these Hall of Fame names at a younger age. He was known as the "King of Ohio", invited to the Nike All American camp as an eighth grader, held a press conference as an eighth grader to announce his High School choice, and he was the number one ranked High School player nationwide as a freshman.
Weaver was an absolute magician with the basketball. With the lift on his left-handed jumper, the no-look passes, hypnotizing spin moves, defensive intensity, and electric bounce; there was nothing on the basketball floor that Estaban couldn’t do. We are beyond honored to have him on the show today to hear more about his story and his amazing documentary titled “WHO IS ESTABAN.”
We had such a great time learning more from the legend himself. He is such a high character guy, and the peace and love he still has for the game of basketball is something that we truly admire. He has the respect and love from both former and current NBA players as well as the whole city of Columbus OH, and that's something that money can never buy. His legacy is still very well respected by his peers and honestly, we believe his legacy is just getting started.
Thank you Estaban Weaver!
