Everyone knows that sending employees to training is very important. However very few organizations ever actually build a formal training program. A formal training program will help attract employees, retain employees, give employees incentive to learn and grow, and create accountability within the organization. A yearly requirement for training from multiple sources should be part of the expectation of employment, along with participation in a mentoring program.
