* She waited for the right moment and plowed the ground first.

* This was extremely wise, because God did two things during this time.

* 1) Haman prepared a death-trap (vs 12-14).

* 2) God reminded the king of Mordecai’s faithfulness (vs 6:12).

* Mordecai had been faithful in the gate but never sought to honor himself, now he was honored by the king.
