Welcome to our Esther Bible Book Challenge Episode 4, we are learning something peculiar from the life of Mordecai- in vs 2 we learned that he could only go up to the king's gate and not beyond because of the way he was dressing. Meaning there was a particular manner in which one had to appear before the king, and sackcloth attire was not one of those clothes to wear. If the earthly king required this type of dressing what more about the King of Kings? What garments does the Lord want us to appear before Him wearing?
