The Champions manage to allude Djura and his gang. On the flight returning to Ængkar within the borders of the Chiasi Nations, Mirthal and Valik embark on a journey to remedy the ill fate that befell their companion Astraios. Meanwhile, Darnum and Uldil catch up and ruminate on what is transpiring.
