We are saved by the death and resurrection of Jesus, His blood being the price of our sin and His resurrection being the evidence that God has accepted the sacrifice and we are indeed justified; "who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification." (Romans 4:25, NKJV) But we often overlook the incredible glory of Jesus living forever and the awesome gifts that are ours BECAUSE He lives and intercedes FOREVER… We must learn much of the life of Christ, we must rightly understand, we must defend the truth of His eternal intercession (a role uniquely His own) else we miss the greatest part of our own consolation.
