Who wouldn’t want eternal life? You might think it’s a no brainer, yet as huge and vital as this question may be, the answer is not as obvious as you think. This weekend we will look at a story in which an extraordinarily successful man asks Jesus how to inherit eternal life. When Jesus spells it out, the answer leaves the man disappointed because he discovered that the pathway to eternal life was not what he really wanted.
