Eternal Life: 1 John 5: 13-21

1. The Introduction: Are we sure we have eternal life?

1.1 Big Idea: Here are two things in 1 John ch5 vv13-21 for us to know; to know for sure we have eternal life (13-21)

2. The first thing is: God hears our prayers (13-17)

3. The second thing is: Jesus protects us from sin (18-21)

4. Conclusion: the exhortation: These two things in 1 John 5 13-21 for us to know; to know for sure we have eternal – are we sure we have eternal life (13-21)

Reflection: Are you sure you know that you have eternal life? Do you know that if you have eternal life God hears your prayers? Do you know that if you have eternal life Jesus protects you?
