  • Not by Wisdom, but by the Spirit | Pastor Erick Guevara

    1 Corinthians 2:1–16

Paul determined to “know nothing” except Jesus Christ and Him crucified—not because he lacked knowledge, but because he refused to depend on his own wisdom and understanding. There comes a place where we must set aside our dependence on what we think we know and allow the Holy Spirit to take over. What the natural eye cannot see, the ear cannot hear, and the human heart cannot comprehend, God reveals through His Spirit. When we stop leaning on human wisdom and surrender to the Spirit, He opens our understanding and teaches us to have the mind of Christ.

“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the human heart, all that God has prepared for those who love Him. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit.” — 1 Corinthians 2:9–10

  • Our First 2 Giants | Pastor Victor Caballero

    Our first 2 Giants

Before Israel crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land, they first had to defeat two giants that stood in their way. These giants can represent battles we still face today: our own will and the uncertainty of tomorrow.

Many times, the greatest obstacle is not what is in front of us, but what is happening within us. Our will wants control, our own timing, and our own way. At the same time, fear of the unknown can make us hesitate because we do not know what tomorrow will bring.

But before Israel could cross over, God showed them that victory comes through trusting Him. We must surrender our will to God and place our future in His hands. We may not know what is on the other side of the Jordan, but we know the One who is leading us there.

Before we can step into what God has prepared for us, there are giants that must be defeated: the desire to control today and the fear of tomorrow.

  • Don’t Drink the Cup of Babylon | Pastor Erick Guevara

Are we seeking God’s presence or people’s approval? Does our public worship reflect private devotion? Through Daniel’s decision not to defile himself with the king’s food and wine, this message calls us to consecrate our lives in sincere devotion to God. Babylon’s cup serves as an illustration of religiosity: the appeal of religion, recognition, and acceptance that can lead us to compromise our obedience. In Matthew 15:3, Jesus confronts religious leaders who allowed their traditions to override God’s commandments, exposing the danger of defiling themselves for the sake of religious practices.

Like Daniel, we must settle the decision in our hearts: our lives belong to God. This message invites us to examine our motives and decisions, remaining faithful even when obedience costs us acceptance. Don’t drink the cup of Babylon—God over all.

  • Called According to His Purpose -Pastor Erick Guevara

    Genesis 25:19–34

Before Jacob and Esau were born, before either had done good or evil, God had already spoken concerning His purpose. Esau was the firstborn and Isaac’s preference, yet God chose Jacob—the man who would later become Israel and carry forward the covenant promise.

This message reminds us that God’s purpose is not determined by human preference, position, ability, or works. His calling rests upon His sovereign will and mercy. The story of Jacob and Esau reveals a God whose plans are established before we can see them and whose purpose cannot be overturned by man.

We are not called because we earned it; we are called according to His Choice & purpose.

“So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.” — Romans 9:16

  • Slaves! One Way or Another | Pastor Erick Guevara

Romans 6:12-23 (NASB1995)Everyone serves a master.Romans 6:12-23 (NASB1995) reveals that sin does not simply want a place in our lives—it wants to reign, rule, and receive our obedience. What we continually surrender ourselves to eventually exercise mastery over us.This is a call to examine who truly has dominion over our lives. Sin promises "freedom" but produces bondage, shame, and ultimately death. But through Christ, we are freed from sin's mastery to become servants of righteousness, leading to sanctification and eternal life. The question is not whether we will serve, but whom we will serve.Sin → DeathChrist → LifeWho is your master?

  • Equipped for War

The Christian life is not without opposition, God has not called us into spiritual warfare defenseless. He has given us everything necessary to recognize the enemy, resist his schemes, and stand firm.

In Ephesians 6:10–18, Paul reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood and calls every believer to be strong in the Lord—not by our own strength, might, or power, but by His—and to put on the full armor of God.

Equipped for War is a call to recognize the battle, know your enemy, and use the armor God has given you to stand firm when the enemy attacks.

  • From Rebellion To Restoration | Pastor Erick Guevara

The book of Amos reveals a sobering truth: rebellion against God always brings consequences. Israel was chosen, blessed, and called to be holy, yet they hardened their hearts, rejected God’s warnings, and refused to repent. Their rebellion led to judgment, brokenness, and the collapse of what God had established.

Yet God’s story does not end with judgment. In Amos 9:11–15, the Lord promises to restore the fallen tabernacle of David, rebuild what had been ruined, and renew His covenant people through the coming Messiah. This message will explore the root cause of Israel’s fall, the significance of God’s promise to restore the tabernacle of David, and how He desires to restore His dwelling place in our hearts through Jesus Christ, bringing redemption, hope, and new life.
