At ETSI Security Conference 2022, Philippa Jefferies spoke to Benoit Collier, Idemia, Trusted Connectivity Alliance, about protecting private networks and subscribers’ privacy by the capabilities of the 5G SIM. They talk about the threats towards the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) and how IMSI encryption within the 5G SIM can help to promote subscriber privacy.
