Dani and Jared welcome the eTwinz, Mario and Alberto Herraez- 5th and 6th Grade Spanish Immersion teachers from Davis School District, to UEN Homeroom this week.  Our discussion centered around the role that language has in expanding student perspectives and opening them to diverse cultures.  Topics this week include: the benefits of dual language programs in schools, how teachers can provide global experiences for their students, the role technology can play in building culture in the classroom, and how to get started using language and culture to engage students.
