In this episode of the Triple-M Euphoria Podcast, we cover the eighth and and final episode of the first season of the HBO television series Euphoria: "And Salt the Earth Behind You". We spoil everything that happens in the full first season of Euphoria!
There is no character backstory/focus this week, as instead it focuses strongly on ensemble (albeit with a few surprising missing pieces). We get a huge time jump this week, and the first nearly 30 minutes of the episode focuses on reintroducing us to the characters and how they've changed since we last spent time with them. We break down the story beat by beat with a few detours along the way.
In our segment "The High High," we pick out our favorite moment from the episode, and in "The O-Face," the moment from the episode we found the most shocking. Once per episode, we can ask each other to "Take the Hit," and let us talk passionately about a specific scene or character beat.
