Ciara Mageean is through to Friday night's final of the women's 1500 metres at the European Athletics Championships in Munich.

She finished second in her semi-final behind Sofia Ennaoui of Poland, having led at the front for much of the race.

Mageean will be coming face-to-face with Laura Muir again, who won when Mageean took silver at the Commonwealth Games a fortnight ago
