This episode of "Dearest Ones," (published on Stanley's 99th birthday: April 23, 1923) includes The Silver King's thoughtful and thorough letters from A-72, north of Paris, in late October 1944.  He's bunking with six officers, sleeping late, eating well, playing baseball, waiting for his bags and mail, requesting goodies from home, and hoping the weather will clear to begin his war.
