Tudor arranges to meet Professor Fernando Gimenez, a former student now a distinguished academic figure who is internationally recognised for his studies of entrepreneurship. The plan is in danger of being disrupted by last-minute travel arrangements.  Their meeting eventually takes place after a lengthy delay.
The discussion begins with an exchange of views about cross-cultural experiences. It then takes an unexpected turn with recollections their first meetings in Brazil and Manchester, Professor Gimenez’s doctoral interview, and the tale of a University administrator who collected stray cats.
