When healing from the physical wounds the psyche, we must question how our medical system is harming some of us. E.V.'s story sheds light on the ways in which the medical system, which is supposed to be an agent of healing, can become the traumatizer. She also shares how becoming an advocate for herself and others has given her agency and a voice.
E.V. Rose (she/they) is a queer Storyteller + Professional Bohemian. She’s the creatrix behind CellarDoor Bohemian, a platform for The Art of Storytelling, across many mediums. She contains multitudes, which is reflected in her creations. She makes art inspired by the stories thematically devoted to the ideals of freedom, beauty, truth, + love. She makes art to tell her story. She is an activist, idealist, + entrepreneur with a heart for the chronically-ill and LGBTQIA+ communities. She lives in downtown Dayton, OH with her two beautiful bébés + their cats!
