The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Worthington are recalling EVAS 20 lb. propane exchange cylinders since they leak creating fire and burn hazards.
About 146,160 tanks were sold at AmeriGas’ propane cylinder exchange suppliers in New Hampshire and Eastern Massachusetts from July 2023 through August 2023 or by other propane cylinder exchange suppliers after those dates.
Immediately stop using these tanks and return them to any AmeriGas Propane Exchange retail location for a free replacement tank. For more info about the recall, contact Worthington at 1-888-520-1304 or via email at [email protected].
