The Evasión Masiva movement in Chile started off as a spontaneous fare strike protesting the Santiago Metro's fourth fare hike in less than two years. Nine months later, protests have overtaken the whole country and the government has called a Constitutional Referendum. In this episode, Evan and Nikola have a conversation about the protest, how it grew into a national movement for justice and dignity, and how fare strikes work as a tool of working class revolt.
