Election night in the United States was an interesting event. Late in the evening, it was clear that there would not be a clear winner in the 2020 election until quite some time after the election. Both sides claim that they feel confident in their chances. 

There are clear paths to victory for both candidates. President Trump can win with a combination of several states. Joe Biden is easily in the grasp of the presidency as well. 

While the outlook may seem dim for some on the conservative side, there are still some bright points. Republicans successfully held on in the Senate. They also fought off fierce challenges in the House of Representatives and placed themselves in a great position for 2022. 

As we await the results of the election for President, we can be confident in several things. We know that we do not have to face the Green New Deal, socialism, court-packing, or any of the other liberal plans. We also know that we can clearly see there is something bigger taking place.

Scripture teaches that we are not at war with each other but with a higher power. Principalities and powers of darkness, or Satan. It's evident that evil is at work in our country, and we must take this time to make sure we are focused on what truly matters.
