The amazing part of the passage is the faith of Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego in verse 17 & 18 where they state that their God is able and will save them, but EVEN IF HE DOESN'T... they will not bow down to any idols.  What an act of faith in the Sovereignty of God. God is in control... let's live like it.
