Paul holds up the staggering exchange: Christ, who was rich beyond measure, became poor for you, so that through His poverty you might become rich. He was in the form of God, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant. The Son of Man had nowhere to lay His head, yet He sustains all things by the word of His power. All things are yours, and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's. He gave up everything so you could gain everything.
