They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. — Revelation 22:4
The greatest promise in all of Scripture may be this simple one: they shall see His face. Moses asked to see God's glory but was told no man could see His face and live. But through Christ, the only begotten Son who has declared Him, we have access. Now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face. Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed — but when He appears, we will be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
