Nearly one month after then-President Donald Trump announced he was pulling troops out of Syria, Navy Cryptologist Shannon Kent was one of several American soldiers killed in the 2019 suicide bombing in Manbij, Syria.
Shannon left behind a loving husband, Joe Kent, an Army veteran, and two children.
Now, several years later, Kent co-wrote a new book called Send Me: The True Story of a Mother at War about Shannon's love for the military, her country, and her family.
Joe Kent joined the host Chris Foster on the FOX News Rundown’s Memorial Day episode to discuss the book and his late wife’s legacy.
Joe told some incredible stories about her life and how his family is still coping with her death.

From Washington: What Happens After The Israel-Hamas War Ends?

A recent study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that almost one in nine children is diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (commonly referred to as ADHD). 
Shockingly, nearly one-third of these children have not received any treatment, and the shortage of Adderall, a drug used to treat ADHD, is exacerbating the situation. 
Thomas Kersting, a psychotherapist and the author of "Raising Healthy Teenagers," recently joined host\ Dave Anthony on the FOX News Rundown to discuss ADHD, how it is diagnosed, and how it can be treated. 
Kersting, like many experts, agrees that cell phones have exacerbated the problem over the last few years. However, he also raises questions about how often and easily the disorder is diagnosed.

From Washington: A Historic Conviction

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is predicting an 'above-normal' hurricane season saying there could be as many as 25 named storms, the most they have ever predicted. NOAA attributes the prediction to a number of factors including warmer than normal ocean temperatures in the Atlantic Ocean and La Nina conditions in the Pacific. The expected heavier than normal hurricane season comes at a time when the director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is warning the agency could be facing a budget shortfall this year.    

FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Mike Brennan, National Hurricane Center Director, Erik Hooks, Deputy Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Florida Congressman Jared Moskowitz about this upcoming hurricane season, the advancements in safety warnings and the need for more funding for disaster relief.
