Adam begot a Son in his own likeness — fallen, sinful, carrying the infection. Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?. We were brought forth in iniquity, conceived in sin. By nature we were children of wrath, dead in trespasses and sins. Paul felt the war: the law is spiritual, but I'm sold under sin — I don't understand my own actions.
