For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin. — Hebrews 4:15

We have a High Priest who was tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. The first Adam saw that the fruit was good for food and a delight to the eyes, and he took it. The second Adam faced the same three temptations — bread, pride, and power — but overcame by the word of God. Because He suffered when tempted, He's able to help those who are being tempted. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for he'll receive the crown of life.
