The Emmaus disciples urged Jesus,'Abide with us, for it is toward evening'. He didn't force His way in — they had to invite Him. Behold, I stand at the door and knock — if anyone opens, I'll come in. Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you pasture your flock. I held Him and wouldn't let Him go.
