No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it. — 1 Corinthians 10:13

God is faithful — and He won't let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. He's not a man that He should lie. The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind. By two unchangeable things — His promise and His oath — we have strong encouragement to hold fast. Entrust your soul to a faithful Creator.
