And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp. — Revelation 21:23

When Christ comes again, there will be no more night, no more shadow, no more dimness. His glory outshines the sun—just as it did on the Mount of Transfiguration. The Lamb is the lamp by which the new creation sees everything clearly. Until that day, we walk in the light as He is in the light, and the path of the righteous grows brighter and brighter.
