Paul does not mean be careless—he means do not be consumed by anxiety about the things of this world. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. The world chases after food and clothing, but your Father knows you need them. Be anxious for nothing; by prayer and supplication let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God will guard your hearts.
