Jesus stood at Lazarus's tomb and thanked the Father that He is always heard. That is the confidence of the Son, and by union with Christ, that same hearing reaches us. Because Jesus lives to intercede, and because we ask according to His will, the Father's ear is open to His children. Not because we are worthy, but because we come in the name of the One who was always heard.
