One of the names of the coming king is counsellor. The spirit of the Lord rested on him—the spirit of wisdom and understanding, and in him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He doesn't just give advice; he is wisdom personified. When you don't know which way to turn, you don't need more opinions—you need Christ. He gives wisdom generously to those who ask, and he leads his people in the way they should go.
