That's the Gospel in a sentence. Not whoever earns it, or qualifies, or cleans up first—whoever calls. Manasseh, the worst king in judah's history, called out in affliction, and the Lord heard him. Come now, reason together, says the Lord—though your sins be as scarlet, they'll be white as snow. The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. As Paul that's a promise, not a possibility.
