You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its savor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. — Matthew 5:13

Preserves, flavors, creates thirst, and that's what believers do in a decaying world; but if salt loses its saltiness, it's good for nothing. The world needs christians who live out their calling with holiness that marks them, born again to a living hope. Don't let your speech be corrupting; let it be seasoned with grace, and have salt in yourselves and be at peace with one another.
