Join beloved writer, broadcaster and Conversations host Richard Fidler as he sheds light on his latest masterwork of historical nonfiction, The Book of Roads and Kingdoms.

Fidler brings to life the story of medieval wanderers who travelled to the edges of the known world during Islam’s fabled Golden Age, expertly weaving beautiful and thrilling pictures of a dazzling lost world with the tale of an empire’s rise and devastating fall. Fidler is joined on stage by Astrid Edwards.
