Ever “TALK STORY” to yourself? Well, some people do, but today instead of talking to ourselves, Bruce and Wayde will be Talking Story with each other about everything and anything this week…it’s just going to be a free for all this week as we dive into many subjects! What is talking story?  Talking story is about having a conversation with others or friends that go deep into talking about events of the past or events that may be coming up…like talking about a story, but the story of our lives. It could be a serious conversation, like…”We need to talk story” or a light hearted conversation when running into a friend at the super market and just talking story in the parking lot…”Talking Story usually ends up taking far longer then you expected…Many locals do this and having an unexpected HOUR conversation in a parking lot when running into someone is usually the norm. Yeah, we all can talk here and that is where “Talking Story” comes from.

We touch base on Bruce’s involvement with the filming of the TODAY SHOW and his interviews with the cast. We’ll touch base on our previous Podcast and the buzz it got on moving to Hawaii and making it or breaking it. We cover the Halekulani and the Controversy with recent events with the discrimination of guests as well as what happened to Bruce with his attempt of filming there. Bruce has a temper sometimes like Wayde and being on a small island and all you need to watch what you say and who you say it to because it can come back to bite you in the ass here in Hawaii!

Did you guys know Bruce is a Tour Guide??? Bruce came out and experienced being a Guide in Training with Wayde on a recent Wayde’s World Hawaii Circle Island Tour. Bruce was able to mingle with his guests and see how they reacted to taking the road less traveled with Wayde. One of the major things that we notice with guests is “WSS” Waikiki Shock Syndrome…it’s the shock factor that when people are visiting Hawaii for the first time and come to Oahu first they are shocked to find out how over crowded, busy and over developed Waikiki is…Seeing the traffic just compounds the factor and can really make some questioning if staying in Waikiki was a mistake. We’ll we cover the basses on “WSS” and the EASY FIX to forget all about Waikiki, leaving it all behind. Remember, You sleep in Waikiki at night…that doesn’t mean you need to spend your days there as well!
