Everlasting Redeemer finds us at Isaiah’s Prophetic Book Part two-hundred and thirteen. Here in the sixty-third chapter of Isaiah we find the plea of #Isaiah asking the #LORD to “Look down from heaven and behold from the habitation of thy #holiness and of thy #glory.” This excerpt is about finding the #merciesofGod towards Isaiah and the #childrenofJudah. The Prophet asks where is “thy #mercies toward me?” You can find these words and the context in our study in #Isaiah beginning in chapter sixty-three, verses fifteen to nineteen. The past experiences of #Jehovah on the #fierymount, to the #Prophet #Moses leading them to the #promisedland, as well as in the promised land. It is true today as #Christians as well, if we wander from the Lord, he allows trouble to thwart our way and make the rebellion even harder to justify. In hopes this will deter us and bring us back to #repentance and #obedience. #EverlastingRedeemer

Yet these verses bring to us a longing of the #childrenofIsrael to see their relationship with Jehovah and the many works of the #LORDGod among them #restored to now #childrenofIsrael. They cling to the scripture and the fact that these are in fact Israel, called by the name of Jehovah. You can see the dealing of Jehovah with these remnants of Israel. Both houses are still divided, there is much left to survive through and yet they seek the Lord for assurances, #blessings, and to know Jehovah is there and will be their help. They acknowledge him as their #father, their #redeemer, and that the #Lord is #everlasting. Yet they had wandered from the Lord and in so doing, were given up to their own lusts and #rebellion as Satan was used as the #instrumentofwrath against their #sins. #EverlastingRedeemer
