Last week I talked about all the changes within iOS7. One app that really worked hard in utilizing all those changes was Evernote. I looked at the Evernote app back in 2011, so it’s time to take a new look at this updated version.

First, the new sidebar of Evernote holds all your notes and also has a quick-note area. You can see the last few notes you wrote, along with adjust all your settings to the app. Of course, Evernote talks with all other computers and devices so your notes follow you wherever you go. You can bring pictures, audio and more right into this note-taking program.

The app is free, with premium service of $4.99 (yearly 44.99).

Rumors on iPad 5 – Is there a 5S and 5C?

I got a couple people asking me if Apple will do the same thing to iPad that they did with iPhone. I have a theory – iPad will technically be the 5S whereas iPad mini will be the 5C.

I am postulating the iPad mini will finally get the so needed retina display. Further, you will see iPad mini with the plastic-backed cases and still with an A6 chipset.

The iPad I expect will contain the A7 chip (and hopefully the M7 co-processor). Whether you can get that in gold, silver or black remains to be seen.
