We start our brand new 'club series' with a bang by looking at Everton - and asking who is the greatest player in the the Blues' history.

David is the Liverpool Echo's Head of Sport, with more than 30 years' experience of covering Everton, the club he adores and has followed since he was a child.

His book, 'A Grand Old Team To Report – 45 Years Following Everton Football Club', came out last year and has already become a must read for every Toffees fan.
