Every Believer A Witness
SOME Christians ignore or misunderstand Jesus' COMMANDS.
Matthew 28:19-20
Mark 16:15
John 20:21
SOME believers are evangelists.
Ephesians 4:11
ALL believers are witnesses.
Acts 1:8
It is important to understand the WHY of witnessing!
Romans 16:25-27
God's desire is that all people should WORSHIP Him through Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:11
2 Corinthians 4:15
Worship should lead to witnessing which will lead more worshippers!
MANY Christians have misplaced PRIORITIES.
Mark 4:19
The worries of this life:
The deceitfulness of wealth:
The desires for other things:
MOST Christians forget about the fate of LOST people.
Luke 16:19-31
EVERYONE Is going to die (v 19-22)
Hell is REAL (v 23-24)
There is no SECOND chance (v 25-26)
God uses the GOSPEL - not the miracles - to save people (v 27-31)
Based on what we have just seen in God's Word, what should you do today?
James 1:22
1.) Decide to OBEY the Lord in witnessing.
John 17:4
2.) Ask God to give you a BURDEN for people.
Remember - you cannot be neutral in witnessing!
Matthew 12:30
This week - Pray Every Day:
"Lord, I want to obey you in witnessing. Help me care about my co-workers, classmates, friends, neighbors, and relatives the way you care about them."
