Family, this week we are finishing off our sermon series The Mission. This week Pst Hendri reminds us that we are the church, the church is not simply a building and we are commissioned to go out and share the Gospel to all the world!

Family, this week we finished off our sermon series The Mission, which is also our theme for the year. Pastor Barend shared with us that the Holy Spirit drives our mission and our mission is to tell others of Jesus, to spread the Gospel even when it seems uncomfortable.

Dat sonder die Heilige Gees is ons soos 'n mooi kar wat net nie so lekker wil aansit nie. Die Heilige Gees is daai krag, daai skop wat ons nodig het om te gaan waar Jesus ons stuur.

This week we continue with our global sermon series The Mission where Pst. Hendri reminds us that there is a cost to accomplishing the mission that Jesus sets out for us. The success of our mission is not measured statistically but by our obedience, and we are encouraged by the fact that Jesus does not expect us to do something that He Himself was not willing to do.

Hierdie week herinner Ps. Hendri ons in ons wereldwye reeks Die Missie dat dit iets kos om vir Jesus te volg. Dit het vir Jesus iets gekos om die Vader se wil te doen op Aarde, en dit kos iets van almal af wie Hom ten volste wil volg in die lewe. Die goeie nuus is Jesus verwag niks van ons af wat Hy nie self bereid was om te doen nie.
