In this edition of the Write Enjoy Repeat Podcast, Monique talks about wanting to be a poet and scribbling on the back of envelopes when she was a child, getting into Jack Kerouac and now writing in her work as a coach. She says of writing, that “it makes me feel grounded, anchored, centred.” Writing is “a way to have a dialogue with myself.” Monique’s favourite author is Jack Kerouac and recommends his most famous book ‘On the Road’ if you want to give him a try. The writing prompt is of course “Everybody has the right to write!”. So if you’ve not written in a while, or have never tried, write out those words, then keep writing and see where your pen takes you.

In the spirit of supporting what I'm trying to promote in this podcast, ie that what you write is welcome, imperfections and all, I've left it as it was recorded, I hope its not too distracting. Do get in touch if we've inspired you to pick up a pen either again, or for the first time.
