You don't agree with me? You're a hater! You don't think like me? You're a hater! You asked me a critical question? You're a hater. You didn't compliment my shoes, my dress, my favorite entertainer, my job, my travel plans? You're a HATER!

These days everybody is a hater. (Yes, even you) The word "hater" is thrown around and used so loosely but what does it even mean to be a hater? And when and why did everybody become one? Mary J. Blige said "no more hateration", then came a bunch of rappers saying "hi, hater!" and people looking for validation based on how many haters they have.
