Hey Human!
This episode is part of the Affirmations Only practice inside Everyday Affirmations.
These sessions move directly into the affirmation work itself. No teaching, no long conversation. Just supportive language designed to help you build a steadier and more compassionate inner voice through repetition.
Affirmations work through familiarity. The more often your mind hears empowering language, the easier it becomes for that language to feel natural and believable.
You can return to these episodes anytime you want to reinforce a healthier way of speaking to yourself.
Thank you for practicing with me.
With kindness

Hey Human!
Whew. We. Did. It.
This is the final episode of our May series on perfectionism and the last episode of Season One of Everyday Affirmations.
We started this season last year talking about fear and anger. We moved through self doubt, procrastination, and now we arrive here, on the thing that threads through all of them. Perfectionism as a control strategy. Not vanity. Not high standards. The attempt to manage outcomes in order to feel safe.
This week we put everything into practice. We talk about changing the metric, what it actually looks like to reroute perfectionism toward something that belongs to you, and why the tool itself was never the problem.
Thank you for building this with me. Season Two returns in August.
For now, keep returning to the episodes and you can look forward to some summer fun with affirmations.
So very glad you're here. So glad you stayed.
With Kindness.

Hey Human!!
This episode looks at what perfectionism actually does once it is operating full force, where it came from, and what it costs.
This episode talks about how it moves through your creativity, your relationships, your presence, quietly replacing the original why with the management of outcomes.
Blayne uses the businessman and the king from The Little Prince to show what that looks like from the inside, and shares honestly about her own experience this month, writing a podcast about letting go of perfectionism while perfectionism was running the whole production. This is the Understanding episode. The one where the pattern becomes visible enough to work with.
Affirmations for the parts of you that are learning to update what no longer requires that level of protection.
So glad you're here.
With Kindness,
B.
Hey Human!
This episode goes into the origin story. Not your mother's. Yours. The moment, the season, the room you were standing in when you decided that need was not safe to show. Blayne shares her own story, growing up as the only member of her biological family without schizophrenia, and what that environment taught her about asking for things. She connects it to the rose in The Little Prince, the character who arranged herself into something that looked like it required nothing, and what that arrangement actually costs the one doing it. This is the episode for anyone who has ever performed not needing anything while quietly hoping someone would see through it.
Affirmations for the versions of you that were doing their best to make sense of things.
So glad you're here.
With Kindness, B.
Hey Human!
This is the 1st Episode of the last relationship we are going to work on this month! WILD. This episode opens the month on perfectionism by introducing the characters of The Little Prince. Blayne walks through each adult the Prince meets on his journey and asks one simple question. Which one do you recognize in yourself. This is awareness week, which means nothing gets fixed. We just look. Affirmations for the parts of you that are learning to see your own patterns with honesty and without judgment.
So glad you're here.

Welcome back Human!
Sometimes you don’t need a long explanation. You just need the language.
These Affirmations Only episodes are here for exactly that. A place to return to the practice itself. Clear, supportive language you can listen to again and again as you reshape the way you speak to yourself. Over time, the mind begins to recognize this arrangement of words as familiar, and what once felt distant starts to feel natural.
Use these affirmations while walking, driving, resting, or whenever you want to reinforce a kinder and more supportive inner voice.
Return to them often. Repetition helps build the pathway.
Thank you for taking care of yourself. And thank you for being here with me.

Everyday Affirmations
Hey Human!
This one is for you if you have never thought of yourself as a procrastinator but have a very detailed vocabulary for why now is not quite the right time. This week on Everyday Affirmations with Blayne Katona we get into where procrastination actually comes from. The ancient survival wiring. The nervous system that cannot tell the difference between a predator and an uncomfortable conversation. And what the 3am ceiling stare is really about.
Glad you're here.
WIth Kindness.

Hey Human!
This one is for you if you have started over more than once and wondered what that says about you. This week on Everyday Affirmations with Blayne Katona we are looking at the story the mind builds inside the gap. Whether it is actually true. Or just the version that got there first. Featuring The Alchemist, The Neverending Story, and the one thing Artax needed to make it across the swamp.
Glad you're here.
