Navigating life as we look forward to the end of 2020. What’s in front of us is vastly different than what is behind us. How will we move forward in uncharted territory?

It was the crowds the sung his praises that started it. But two of his disciples brought some people to Jesus. Something about that shifted God’s plan of salvation for mankind to the next gear. When we come to the place place, it can yield similar results in our lives.

She didn’t have much, but she gave it all. Somehow, that was more than anyone else put in the offering that day. What can we learn from the widow and her freewill offering?

She did it. No question about that. She was guilty. But Jesus does the unexpected and turns a death sentence into a second chance. He does the same for us!

Luke 9 reads like the script of 2020.

“That type of Christianity which happens now to be the vogue knows this Presence only in theory. It fails to stress the Christian’s privilege of present realization. According to its teachings we are in the presence of God positionally, and nothing is said about the need to experience that Presence actually” -A.W. Tozer

Jesus said that all you need to move a mountain is faith the size of a tiny mustard seed. Yet it has never happened. How do we reconcile that?

Jesus told Peter that he would give him the Keys of the Kingdom. Wow…but what does that mean? And what had to happen in the disciples’ lives to get to the point when Jesus would give them such a trust? How does that speak to us today?

Jesus asked this question to his disciples after many people turned away from following him. He had just said some pretty hard sayings and people couldn’t hang with it. But there was something about the disciples’ response that can help us get through crisis and tough times today.

I start this episode with some thoughts about the Shelter in Place order and Sabbath. This episode is one that I personally have been looking forward to as we take a look at the heart of Jesus when he feeds 10,000-15,000 people from just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.
