Mark 8:22-25.

Last week we noticed that the path to making disciples begins with gospel intentionality, highlighting the importance of one sinner to God. This morning, we turn to another indispensable step in making disciples—the importance of prayer. Now the question we must ask and answer is this—“When it comes to making disciples, why is prayer so important? Why is it absolutely crucial for Everyday Disciples to saturate their disciple making with prayer?” The answer has everything to do with our our absolute inability to open spiritually blind eyes. Main Idea—Everyday disciples pray because we need Jesus to open spiritually blind eyes.
