We are amazing at positioning ourselves as the right ones and others as the wrong ones…and I don’t think it’s just an American thing, but I think it’s a human thing.

And the struggle we often face is this predisposition we have of being offended…almost like we’re always looking for it.

The difference comes when we become more aware of our own falleness.

• When we recognize our sin, our mistakes, our shortcomings, we are less likely to hold others against them.
